BIKING EVERGREEN COLORADO
Cycling enthusiasts can easily find a challenge in and around Evergreen - everything from vertical climbs on the pavement, to technically demanding singletrack in the dirt. Each year, several events take place throughout the Colorado Rockies - The Triple Bypass, Ride the Rockies and the Fat Tire Classic are among the favorites. The Triple Bypass is a road ride from Evergreen to Vail. The route begins in Evergreen, travels over Squaw Pass (11,140 ft elevation), then Loveland Pass (11,990 ft) and finally Vail Pass (10,560 ft elevation) for a total distance of 120 miles and over 10,000 feet of heart pounding change in elevation.
Team Evergreen Bicycle Club maintains an active calendar and participates in community rides and special events throughout the Rockies.
